During the 25th China International Software Expo, the first Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial and Information Technology Think Tank Summit was held. The industrial and information think tanks in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region jointly launched an initiative to gather wisdom to create high-quality products, gather potential to build platforms, gather heart to cultivate talents, and work together to inject new wisdom into the coordinated development of the industries in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

At the summit, industry experts and scholars exchanged ideas and views around themes including “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial Collaboration”, “Construction of Think Tanks in the Industry and Information Technology Field”, and “Construction of New Type Think Tanks with Chinese Characteristics”, providing suggestions for promoting communication and interaction between think tanks in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei industry and information technology field and the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integrated cooperation. They expressed the need to output more high-level intellectual achievements around key and difficult issues such as “what is needed, what is breakthroughs, and what is to be promoted” in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is the need to further integrate advantageous resources, share more forward-looking research results, focus on common needs, key and difficult issues, and leverage the decision-making consulting and important supporting role of industrial and information think tanks to help the coordinated development of industries in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions reach a new level.
